Jamie has been in the field of psychotherapy and addictions counseling since 1999.  She has worked in behavioral health care settings with a variety of clients (adolescents and adults), including those courageously facing addictions.  Jamie specializes in working with adolescent girls on issues surrounding anxiety, depression, mood disturbances, stress management, and interpersonal relationships.  She believes that helping adolescents work through their psychological issues aids their adjustment during this crucial developmental period.  In addition, she helps her clients in the areas of anger management, school related challenges, communication skills and recovery enrichment.
Jamie received a Master of Education and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Teachers College, Columbia University.

She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Psychology from Lehigh University. Jamie is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor.
Jamie believes that her role as a therapist is to effectively guide an individual towards becoming his/her most authentic self.  She has developed a compassionate, supportive, and energetic approach to therapy, in which she helps guide clients towards actualizing and achieving their potential.

Personally, Jamie enjoys a busy life raising two sons and a daughter with her husband of over 10 years.
