Debby has been in the field of nutrition and dietetics since 1988.  During this time she co-founded Denville Family Counseling, where she currently provides nutritional therapy to adults, adolescents and children.  Debby has worked with numerous client populations, including: cardiac disease, diabetes, weight management, eating disorders and substance abusers.  In addition, Debby has served her clients in numerous capacities ranging from clinician to food service director.

Through her diverse roles as clinician and educator, Debby has developed an approach to nutritional therapy that is informative and focused, while ensuring compassion and sensitivity to her clients.  To this end, she is committed to providing the very best resources and information to her clients so that their food choices, lifestyle modifications and meal planning are simple, yet effective

Debby also helps her clients by suggesting exercise routines that will enhance their overall well-being.
Debby received her Master of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Marywood University. She has been an adjunct professor at the College of St. Elizabeth.  She also is a mentor to dietetic students from several colleges and internship programs.

Debby is a Registered Dietitian and an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has completed post-graduate coursework in Sports and Wellness at the College of St. Elizabeth and has earned Certified Personal Trainer status through the National Council on Strength and Fitness.

On a lighter note, Debby enjoys a fulfilling life as a wife, mother of two growing teenage boys and a satisfying career.  She is an active runner with her husband and business partner, Eric.  She continues to run five mile races and has completed two half marathons. 

Registered Dietitian
